About Me
My name is Hannah, a UX designer and researcher with a passion for art and photography. I consider myself to be a very creative person with an interested for research which caused me to be interested in UX design and research and ultimately decided to pursue that career path.
ā
I have explored a lot of different mediums when it comes to art and design, including physical paintings, print design, Canva, figma, adobe creative cloud, and just pencil and paper. I also explored several mediums for research due to my associates of science degree where I conducted research studies and recently in user research in which I used various tools including comparative analysis, user testing, etc.
ā
These skills have enabled me to create digital and physical experiences that are able to connect and resonate with users. I view each project as an opportunity to not only grow my skill level but create lasting change that meet the needs of users and allow for products and spaces to be accessible for all users.
When Iām Not Working
Outside of my professional life, I am always looking for opportunities to grow and learn new skills. I also find new ways to be inspired whether that be through animation or looking into new design layouts. You can also find me with a book more often than not or talking about a new show that has slowly become my new obsession. All these things assist me in one way or another in creating new designs.

My Process:
Identify the problem:
Through interviews, surveys, data analysis, and A/B testing, I start to deeply understand the challenges users or stakeholders are facing. This step ensures clarity on the problem we aim to solve before we can start to solve it.
Find potential solutions:
I then try brainstorming and creating potential design solutions based on the problem at hand. This step involves exploring various approaches to address the user's needs effectively and improve their over all experiences.
Conduct research:
āI begin gathering data using methods such as interviews, surveys, and user testing and heuristic analysis. This data provides insights into user behavior, needs, and preferences, which helps the design process as well as getting to know what the problem is for the users themselves.
Create analysis report/ designs:
I can then begin analyzing the gathered data to identify patterns and insights. This analysis drives the creation of design solutions with the user needs in mind. I also document what I find in a comprehensive report, which serves as a guide for stakeholders on the project.
Present my ideas:
The last and crucial step is communicating research findings, design concepts, and recommendations to stakeholders. This involves effectively presenting the rationale behind design decisions and advocating for user-centered/accessible design principles.
